Our Beliefs

     * The Bible is the inspired, perfect Word of God.  

        II Timothy 3:14-17

     * God, the Father is the creator and ruler of the universe. He

        eternally exists in three individual personalities: the Father,

        the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal and are

        one God.  

        Genesis 1:1; Acts 17:24-28; John 1:1, 14; John 15:26

     * Jesus Christ is the Son of God and on earth He was both fully

        man and fully God. He died on the cross for our sins.

     * The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian and empowers the church.  

        John 14:7; Ephesians 4:30; II Timothy 1:14; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 10:45

     * All people have sinned and apart from faith in Jesus Christ are

        lost. 

        Romans 3:23

     * Salvation is God’s free gift, but we must accept it. We respond to

        God’s offer of salvation and Jesus’ sacrifice through repentance,

        confession of sin, baptism by immersion, and living like Christ.  

        Romans 6:23; 1 John 2:1-2; I John 4:9; Acts 2:38; 1 John 1:9;

        Colossians 1:10

     * Jesus Christ will return for His Church and those who have accepted

        Him as Savior and Lord will live in heaven eternally with Him. All

        who reject Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord will be tormented

        eternally in the lake of fire.

     * The Church exists to save the lost and edify the saved. Every

        Christian is called to full-time Christian service, regardless of

        his or her vocation. We practice the truth that every believer

        is a minister by helping each member find a place of service

        and ministry.
